What is the Fun Run?
The ABP Southampton Fun Run is a family-friendly 1-mile event held on the same day as the ABP Southampton Marathon. It's designed to be a fun and enjoyable race, encouraging participation from everyone—young children, parents, friends, and even those new to running.
With no pressure to achieve a personal best, the Fun Run is all about having a great time, getting some fresh air, and celebrating the joy of running. Many families and community groups take part together, making it a fantastic way to spend the day, build memories, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the marathon. Please note, children aged under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult running with the child.
