Charity Tuesday - Abby's Heroes

3 generations of runners! 

At the 2022 event, three generations of the same family took part, the oldest of the family being 84 and the youngest 18! The family are huge supporters of Abby's Heroes.

Declan, a member of the family will be taking on the challenge of the Full Marathon at the 2023 ABP Southampton Event. This will be the second time he has taken on the distance for Abby's Heroes - wishing him the best of luck for the 2023 event and we hope to see the rest of the family back aswell!

The aim of the Abby's Heroes is to help and support children and their families who come under the care of the Piam Brown and the Teenagers and Young Adults (TYA) wards in Southampton General Hospital. The catchment for these wards covers the south of England as it is a centre of excellence for children’s oncology. Abby's Heroes aim to offer financial and practical help and importantly, the opportunity to make lasting memories for the children, young adults and their families.
